A little Valentine's Love for Yourself!

Whether your married, in a relationship or single - we must {learn to} love ourselves before anything else!  

Trust me, I know how it is to look in the mirror and not see what I want to see (a stronger, leaner, healthier version of myself)!  However, I remind myself daily that I am working toward getting stronger (by incorporating weight sessions into my training), leaner (overall eating and exercise plans) and healthier (improved breathing, strong legs that carry me on my runs, and overall feeling better).  

Perhaps we can all use alittle reminder to love ourselves on this Valentines Day!  

5 Ways to Love Your Body

Instead of heading out to gorge yourself this V-day - why not grab your partner and get ina good sweat session (using the ideas below, or perhaps you can sweat it out another way *wink*wink*).  Or maybe you can use the moves below to work off that V-day gorging session (we all love a good meal and some chocolate, I'm guessing!).

And lastly - because we all love chocolate and sweets, I leave you with some "healthified recipes" to indulge in!  I am eyeballing the Chocolate Mousse!

Housekeeping items:

*We are going to Yoga Tuesday nights at Nishkama Yoga in Independence (on 82) - Yoga Basics Class - from 7:30pm - 8:30pm. It is $15.00 per class (multiple class passes are available.) They also offer yoga mats to rent for the class for $1 or $2. If you decide to join us, get there early (atleast by 7:15 to sign in and get a spot. Also, reminder, no shoes in the studio, and bring water and a towel).

*Zumba is still happening at St. John's every Wednesday from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. It is great fun and as always, the more the merrier! It is pay as you go $5.00 per class. Your fifth class is FREE!
